MAHWAH, NJ--Seiko Optical Products of America, the leader in finished Transitions lenses announces the launch of a new 1.74 Transitions finished single-vision lens.

Mike Rybacki, Seiko Optical Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing stated, "Chalk up another first for Seiko Optical Products! Our new 1.74 Transitions product is made with the same new and improved 1.74 index monomer as our recently introduced 1.74 AR lens. Both of our finished 1.74 lenses take advantage of Seiko's patented and proven MX aspheric design, which corrects primary lens aberrations and provides a spherical fitting button in the center of the lens for instant accommodation. The new 1.74 Transitions lens uses Transitions VI technology in gray that provides the best photochromic performance in the market."

Mr. Rybacki concluded, "Seiko Optical is the leader in finished single-vision Transitions products, with lenses available in 1.50 plastic, polycarbonate, and 1.67 high index. We are very excited to expand this line with the addition of this 1.74 product."

The 1.74 Transitions product is available in minus spheres from -3.00 to -10.00, in 0.25 diopter steps, out to a -2.00 cylinder.
